We are seeking a skilled Pressure Welder to join our team at Jewel Welding Fabrication and Coatings Ltd. in Maple Ridge, BC. As a Class A Pressure Welder, you will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and assembling steel pipe in our shop and at various project sites around the province.
Key Responsibilities- Welding and fabricating steel pipe using various techniques and equipment
- Assembling and testing pipe systems to ensure quality and safety standards
- Working independently in a busy environment and collaborating with team members as needed
- Meeting production deadlines and maintaining a high level of productivity
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry advancements
- Valid welding certification (CWB, SMAW, or FCAW)
- Minimum B level log book or equivalent
- Class "A", "IT", or "R" certification from TSBC
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
- Competitive hourly rate ($35-$45 per hour)
