About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Chief to join our team at Mount Alverno Resort and Retreat. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our administrative services department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and Improve Operations

Evaluate the performance of our administrative services department and identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Lead and Manage Staff

Direct and advise staff engaged in providing records management, security, finance, purchasing, human resources, and other administrative services. Hire, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.

Plan and Manage Budgets

Plan, administer, and control budgets for client projects, contracts, equipment, and supplies. Ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and compliant with company policies.

Communicate Effectively

Prepare reports and briefs for management committees evaluating administrative services. Develop and maintain effective communication channels with staff, management, and clients.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Language

Fluent in English.

Work Environment

Fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
