Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Build It Back. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete structures.
Responsibilities:- Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Fills hollows and removes spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
- Operates power vibrators to compact concrete and level the top surface according to grade and depth specifications.
- Imparts the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
- Installs anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures to ensure a secure and durable finish.
- Applies hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and protect them from the elements.
- Waterproofs, damp proofs, and restores surfaces to their original condition.
- Repairs, resurfaces, and replaces worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to maintain our high standards.
- Physically demanding work environment.
- Ability to handle heavy loads and work at heights.
- Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment are required.
Our team works in a variety of settings, including on-site customer service, remote locations, rural areas, urban areas, and residential settings. We offer a permanent work term with 30-45 hours of work per week.
