Job Summary:

The CNC Programmer is a key member of the Safran Cabin team, responsible for creating and maintaining computer programs for Numerical Controlled cutters. This role requires close collaboration with production operations, engineering, and quality assurance to ensure that machine code and programs meet production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create computer programs using True Nest or Master CAM software to cut or machine parts required for production.
  • Load programs into cutting machines using a network connection or floppy disk.
  • Manage the cutting schedule as required by the production manager or program manager.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School diploma or higher.
  • Experience: 2-5 years experience with True Nest or Master Cam.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Auto CAD, Microsoft Excel, and Windows operating system.
  • Other Skills: High proficiency in reading and interpretation of drawings required. Trigonometry a plus.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to communicate in French and English.
