Job Description

The CNC Programmer is responsible for creating and maintaining computer programs for Numerical Controlled cutters at Safran Cabin. This role requires collaboration with shop floor and engineering prints to ensure machine code and programs are established and verified.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create computer programs in True Nest or Master CAM to cut or machine parts required for production.
  • Load programs into cutting machines using a network connection or floppy disk.
  • Manage the cutting schedule as required by the production manager or program manager.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or higher.
  • 2-5 years of experience with True Nest or Master Cam.
  • Proficiency in Auto CAD, Microsoft Excel, and Windows operating system.
  • Ability to communicate in French and English.
Working Conditions:

This is an entry to mid-level position that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
