About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Real Canadian Superstore. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and processing transactions accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, restock shelves, and ensure that merchandise is properly displayed.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide support during peak periods, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Work Experience: Experience in a retail environment is an asset.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Familiarity with electronic cash registers and other point-of-sale systems.
  • Security and Safety: Ability to pass a criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 25 pounds.
