**Job Summary**
The Food Clerk (night stocking) is a key member of our Grocery Department team at Federated Co-operatives Limited. As a Food Clerk, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring our store's grocery merchandise is accurately stocked and displayed.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Order and stock grocery merchandise to meet customer demand
- Merchandise and display packaged products to create an attractive shopping experience
- Receive and unload trucks, ensuring timely and efficient processing of merchandise
- Maintain department cleanliness and housekeeping standards, adhering to safety and sanitation procedures
**Requirements**
- Grade 9 or equivalent education and experience
- Previous Grocery Department or retail experience is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. daily
**Essential Skills**
- Excellent internal and external customer service skills
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Flexibility and strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a diverse environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to perform repetitive physical labor, adhering to safe work guidelines
**Availability**
Overnight shifts, Sunday through Saturday, between 10pm and 7am, with full availability
