Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on land use and management, supporting the development and implementation of the Land Use and Sustainability Framework.
- Coordinate land use and management research and policy development on behalf of the GNWT and the Northwest Territories.
- Develop and review lands policies and initiatives, as well as program/operational policies, standards, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in environmental/resource management, land use planning, geography, public policy, public administration, or a related field.
- Three years of experience in policy and program development and analysis, with project management experience considered an asset.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary starting at $58.88 per hour (approximately $114,816 per annum) plus an annual Northern Allowance of $3,700.
