Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at EMCO Corporation. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products throughout our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, and ship customer orders with accuracy and efficiency
  • Count, verify, and receive incoming vendor material and customer returns
  • Load and unload trucks, operate forklifts, and other material handling equipment
  • Receiving duties include verifying material received, noting discrepancies, and entering material into the computer system
  • Picking, packing, and shipping duties include assembling material, packing, and completing documentation for shipments
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety by removing debris and reporting safety issues

Requirements

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; college and/or university degree an asset
  • Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience
  • Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Able to develop comprehensive product knowledge and accurately process orders
  • Ability to learn to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
