Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Molding Supervisor to join our team at Polytainers. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for leading a team of packers and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of packers to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
- Lead the Performance Improvement Process and ensure conformance to Standards of Conduct.
- Schedule, direct, and monitor the work of assigned team members to maintain production needs.
- Manage the Performance Improvement program, including dealing with issues and providing timely feedback.
- Ensure all team members are trained and performing in a safe and efficient manner.
- Lead accident/incident investigations and submit reports in a timely manner.
- Manage vacation planning and absences, overtime, personnel moves, and other exceptions.
- Support and drive Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Ensure full communication of all information to shift supervisors to ensure smooth running of Molding production.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering or Business or equivalent.
- Demonstrated strong supervisory skills and experience in a midsize to large manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of injection molding manufacturing, time studies, and systematic troubleshooting.
- Good PC skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication skills.
