Job Summary:

The Salvation Army CA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our community ministries in Fort St. John, British Columbia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, program development, and implementation of our community programs, ensuring they align with our mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve our community ministry goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of new programs and services to meet the needs of our community.
  • Manage and supervise a team of staff and volunteers to ensure the effective delivery of our programs and services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, including government agencies, funders, and local organizations.
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure the effective use of resources.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a related field, such as social work, non-profit management, or business administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a non-profit or community organization.
  • Proven track record of successful program development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
