About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cellar Hand II at Arterra Wines Canada, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the grape processing and fermentation management, including grape and juice reception, destemming, crushing, and pressing.
  • Support cellar work, including barrel work, racking, product transfers, product blending, and product additions.
  • Contribute to cellar sanitation, including tank and barrel cleaning, and general cleaning of facility and winery equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and standard operating protocols.
  • Operate cellar forklift and other winery equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Manage inventory and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong commitment to quality and attention to detail.
  • Hands-on, dependable, and self-starting individual with good problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic logistic skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift 55 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
