Aerospace Compliance Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Auditor/Investigator to join our team in a dynamic and challenging role. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and completing audits and inspections for all operational groups, including flight, ground, and training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain detailed audit checklists for all functions and elements under the approved manuals and quality assurance program
- Assist in maintaining and updating audit reports and recommendations
- Support the development of short and long-term risk mitigation options to address contributing factors identified during investigation
- Facilitate the investigation process to identify possible contributing factors to the event being investigated and gather factual information
- Participate in occurrence investigation activities for aviation operations
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- 3-5 years' experience in commercial flight operations - pilot experience preferred
- Previous experience of working in the safety management system of a commercial airline
- Previous experience of auditing to meet IATA operational safety audit program requirements
- Excellent analytical skills, able to interpret requirements and apply to process development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Technical knowledge of aircraft types operated and maintained by the company is considered an asset
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
- Strong commitment to meeting deadlines and effective time management skills
- Must maintain a valid passport; must be able to travel domestically and internationally when required
