As a Driver Trainer, you will play a vital role in evaluating the driving skills of potential candidates and delivering comprehensive safety training programs to both new and experienced drivers within our organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough log audits and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Analyze telematic data to identify areas for improvement and provide personalized coaching to drivers.
  • Administer Circle Check procedures and conduct comprehensive road skill testing to assess driver proficiency.
  • Develop and deliver engaging orientation programs and mentor new drivers to foster a culture of safety.
  • Conduct 30/60/90-day reviews and annual performance evaluations to track progress and provide ongoing feedback.
  • Actively participate in initiatives aimed at preventing accidents, retaining valuable drivers, and continuously improving safety standards.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of effective accident investigation and health and safety programs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience operating commercial vehicles.
  • Valid Class 1 driver's license.
  • Valid AZ driver's license.
  • Bilingualism is required for positions in Quebec.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety and compliance regulations within the transportation industry.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver impactful training programs.
  • Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and compliance applications.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Hours of Service, fatigue prevention strategies, dangerous goods handling, defensive driving techniques, and WHMIS/Health & Safety protocols.
Skills & Abilities:
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
  • Strong sense of accountability and responsibility for safety outcomes.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and motivate drivers to achieve excellence.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Positive work experience that fosters a supportive environment for drivers.

Candidates must be willing to undergo security and reference checks.
