Key Responsibilities- Manufacturing Operations Management: Oversee production operations, ensuring efficient and effective manufacturing processes.
- Shift Management: Rotate across three shifts at our main plant, managing production schedules and workforce.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate activities of production workers to meet production goals.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and union agreements.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
- Employee Relations: Address and resolve employee issues, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Reporting and Communication: Maintain accurate production records and reports, and collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and communication.
- Manufacturing Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Union Experience: Experience working in a unionized environment.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to be firm yet personable.
- Background in Plastic Injection Molding: Background in plastic injection molding is a strong asset.
- Shift Availability: Ability to rotate across three shifts, and steady midnight shift availability with experience in assembly operations preferred.
- Problem-Solving and Communication Skills: Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
