About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Siding Installer to join our team at Gk Siding Ltd. As a Siding Installer, you will be responsible for installing siding on various construction and renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure accurate installation.
  • Layout and Installation Planning: Determine layout and installation procedures to ensure efficient and safe installation processes.
  • Measure and Mark Guidelines: Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations, ensuring accurate placement and alignment.
  • Load and Unload Supplies: Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Utilize Hand and Power Tools: Utilize hand and power tools to complete installations, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Erect and Install Scaffolding: Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms to ensure safe access to work areas.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma required; 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in siding installation.
  • Work Environment: Work outdoors in various locations, including construction and renovation sites.
  • Work Setting: Work in a fast-paced construction environment, with varying weather conditions.
  • Physical Demands: Lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work at heights, requiring physical stamina and endurance.
  • Personal Suitability: Possess reliability, teamwork skills, and a strong work ethic, with a commitment to safety and quality.
