Job Title: Retail Meat Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Retail Meat Specialist to join our team at TWOMAN CANADA INC. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality of meat products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
  • Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
  • Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
  • Wrap and package prepared meats
  • Remove bones from meat
  • Price meat products
  • Clean and prepare fish and shellfish
  • Cut fish into steaks and fillets
  • Supervise other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers
  • Slice cooked meats
  • Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood
Work Environment:

As a Retail Meat Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads. You must be physically demanding and have excellent hand-eye coordination.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
