About the Role

At Moment Factory, we're pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation in the world of multimedia environments. As a Senior Technical Artist, you'll be part of a dynamic team that blends artistic vision with technical expertise to create immersive experiences.

Your Mission

Your primary objective will be to provide technical support to our artistic teams, ensuring the seamless execution of complex tasks and projects. This involves:

  • Integrating models, configuring lighting, and creating materials for multimedia installations;
  • Developing custom tools and software for the artistic team, including shaders, post-effects, and real-time rendering;
  • Debugging and resolving technical issues that arise during project development;
  • Participating in software testing and contributing to the version control system;
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest technological innovations and techniques in real-time visual programming;
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure timely project delivery and high-quality results.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A university degree in digital arts, interactive design, animation, programming, or a related field;
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the video game, film, or virtual reality industries;
  • Excellent proficiency in software such as Houdini, Nuke, Fusion, and After Effects for creating complex visual effects and compositing;
  • Experience with Python programming and advanced skills in C++;
  • A good understanding of production pipelines and workflows;
  • Advanced proficiency in both French and English, both spoken and written.
