About the Role

At Moment Factory, we're pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation in the world of multimedia installations. As a Senior Technical Artist, you'll be part of a dynamic team that blends artistic vision with technical expertise to create immersive experiences.

Your Mission

Your primary objective will be to provide technical support to our artistic teams, ensuring the seamless integration of complex visual content into our projects. This involves:

  • Integrating 3D models, configuring lighting, and creating materials to bring our designs to life;
  • Developing custom tools and software solutions to enhance the artistic team's workflow;
  • Debugging and resolving technical issues that arise during production;
  • Participating in software testing and contributing to our version control system;
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest technological innovations and techniques in real-time visual programming.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A university degree in digital arts, interactive design, animation, or a related field;
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the video game, film, or virtual reality industries;
  • Excellent proficiency in software such as Houdini, Nuke, Fusion, and After Effects;
  • Experience with Python and C++ programming languages;
  • A good understanding of production pipelines and workflows;
  • Advanced proficiency in both French and English, both spoken and written.
