About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at Value Village. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our store, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our customers and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and emptying trash
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of high-touch areas, such as bathrooms and break rooms
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment and appliances safely and efficiently
- Follow loss prevention procedures and report any incidents to management
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve store goals and objectives
Requirements:
- Ability to read and write
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail
- Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
