We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist Relief Specialist to support our stores in Edmonton, AB. As a valued member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering quality patient-centered care and helping our customers and communities achieve healthier lifestyles.
About the Role
As a Pharmacist Relief Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Managing Day-to-Day Pharmacy Operations
• Dispensing medications and maximizing clinical opportunities
• Administering vaccinations and maintaining inventory within the pharmacy
• Ensuring compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures
Providing Clinical Services
• Offering private consultations to patients while maintaining a patient-centered care culture
• Providing medication management and health screening services
Collaborating with Team Members
• Working closely with pharmacy staff to ensure seamless day-to-day operations
• Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on the latest trends in the pharmacy industry
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Canadian Pharmacist Licence
• In good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists
Injection Certification
Proficiency with Pharmacy Software Solutions
• Preferably Kroll
Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT)
• Completed mandatory training when required
Ability to Travel
• Frequently travel throughout the region for 1-2 weeks at a time
Flexibility
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
