About the Role...

This position plays a vital role in our operations, focusing on all aspects of accounts receivable and payable. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining precise and current accounts payable and receivable records
  • Inputting all necessary data from invoices
  • Generating receivable statements
  • Executing schedules and journals as required
  • Conducting cash balancing, bank deposits, and reconciliations
  • Calculating and issuing necessary statements or receipts
  • Posting invoices and preparing checks as needed
  • Managing deposits and cash control procedures
  • Processing vehicle transaction deals with accuracy
  • Assisting in month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Providing support for payroll processing when necessary
  • Handling insurance and warranty remittances and reconciling related schedules

About You...

The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in accounting administration, with qualifications including:

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Post-secondary education in accounting or finance
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., CDK/Reynolds)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and meet deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and strategic thinking
