Job Summary:

Algoma Steel Inc. is seeking a skilled Industrial Millwright to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our steel production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and machinery
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic analysis to identify and resolve equipment issues
  • Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure seamless production operations
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize production
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a related industrial environment
  • Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A) Red Seal certification
  • 4-position CWB Welding certificate an asset
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Ability to work on a rotating shift schedule
