Job Title: Marketing Communications Specialist

Job Summary:

SLR Consulting (Canada) Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Communications Specialist to join our team in Vancouver. As a key member of our Canada-wide team, you will be responsible for creating and executing diverse marketing campaigns, crafting effective business development strategies, and playing an integral role in helping our consultants build winning proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with technical teams to develop strong proposals and RFP responses.
  • Help develop win strategies and pursuit plans.
  • Provide copywriting and editing support for a range of mediums, including marketing materials, policies, presentations, and reports.
  • Design and implement custom marketing content and campaigns.
  • Produce quality content across various platforms, including blogs, social media, and trade show material.
  • Provide insights and analysis on KPIs related to marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  • Monitor trends, developments, and technology that might contribute to marketing strategies.
  • Develop marketing initiatives that support product and segment awareness, engagement, and demand.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on sustainability.
  • Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, or a similar field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience with professional writing, including proposals, RFP responses, business communications, and policy/process development.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with content creation, including blog posts, tradeshow materials, technical papers, and publications.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing digital platforms, including social media and websites.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite and strong MS Office skills.
