Key Responsibilities- Deploy Data Governance Agenda: Support the deployment of our data governance agenda globally to accelerate trust and utilization of data.
- Refine Data Quality Framework: Collaborate to continuously refine our global data quality framework and drive adoption by developing playbooks, accelerators, and training partners in data quality concepts.
- Support Data Governance Leaders: Support leaders in data governance roles across the organization to improve their data literacy and familiarity with data governance and data quality practices.
- Engage with Partners: Engage with partners at various levels of the organization to guide them in identifying critical data elements and setting up metrics linking data quality to business value.
- Conduct Data Analysis: Conduct hands-on data analysis to address high-priority data quality issues from issue identification through root cause analysis to issue resolution.
- Implement Data Governance Metrics: Implement global data governance metrics and oversight mechanisms to ensure delivery of target outcomes through the Data Governance program.
- Adopt Data Quality Technology: In partnership with Technology teams, support adoption of the data quality technology in the Azure Cloud environment as well as for on-prem applications.
- Liaise with Stakeholders: Serve as a liaison between the Global Data Governance team and our Segment Data offices, Data Owners, and Control Partners (Information Risk Management, Compliance, Privacy, Legal) to ensure that data quality requirements are defined, captured, and communicated.
- Drive Innovation: Apply creative thinking and contribute to innovation in the data governance practices at Société Financière Manuvie; monitor new and existing data governance technologies and bring meaningful advancements to the leaders' attention.
You will work with our technology and business partners to unlock the value of data through improved accuracy and trust. This will help Société Financière Manuvie achieve its strategic ambition of becoming a digital customer leader. It will also enable efficiency and speed in generating insights with data.

- 5+ years of data governance and data management related experience in a large multinational organization.
- A college/university degree in computer science, engineering, or another technology or quantitative field.
- Experience operating in a sophisticated, large-scale organization; financial and insurance industry experience preferred.
- Strong communicator, able to effectively target communications to both technology and business audiences.
- Mastery of data governance concepts and technologies. Hands-on experience using one or more leading data quality software and data visualization products at scale.
- Familiarity with foundational data architecture concepts and Cloud technology is a plus.
- Strong problem-solver, able to facilitate teams united by a common goal in a matrixed organizational structure.
- Practical experience with data wrangling, analytics, dashboard design.
