We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Olivo Cafe. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring that all food is of the highest quality and presented in an attractive manner.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and take steps to address any issues that may arise.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed, and maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas to the highest standards, ensuring that all equipment and surfaces are clean and sanitized.
- Support for Diverse Groups: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, and visible minorities.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
