We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at PVP CONSTRUCTION INC.

Job Summary:

The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on concrete surfaces. This includes checking formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials, directing the placement of concrete, and operating power vibrators to compact concrete.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet specifications
  • Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure a smooth finish
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
  • Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
Requirements:
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work at heights
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment
  • Dependability and ability to meet deadlines
Work Environment:

The Concrete Finisher will work in a variety of locations, including outdoors and in dusty environments. The work will be physically demanding and require the ability to handle heavy loads and work at heights.
