Job Title: Concrete Finisher

PVP Construction Inc. is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on concrete surfaces.

Job Summary:
  • Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set.
  • Level the top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
  • Impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures as required.
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and ensure durability.
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to prevent damage.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
Work Environment:

As a Concrete Finisher, you will work in a variety of locations, including outdoors, and may be exposed to dusty, noisy, and wet/damp conditions.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Dependability and ability to meet deadlines.
