About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Early Childhood Assistant to join our team at SQ1 Edu Group Inc. As an Early Childhood Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our early childhood education programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining a Safe and Healthy Environment
    • Ensure the daycare equipment is in good working condition and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Engaging Children in Activities
    • Develop and implement engaging storytime sessions, teach songs, and prepare crafts to promote children's cognitive and creative development.
  • Supporting Early Childhood Educators
    • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in maintaining accurate records and submitting written observations on children.
  • Collaborating with Colleagues
    • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • Planning and Coordinating Activities
    • Plan and maintain an environment that promotes the health, security, and well-being of children.
  • Supervising and Coordinating Activities
    • Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Language
    • Fluency in English
  • Work Schedule
    • 30 hours per week
