Job Title: E&I Superintendent

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced E&I Superintendent to join our team at FLINT Corp. in Sherwood Park, AB. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing E&I projects from development to completion, ensuring they meet our high standards for safety, quality, and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and implement FLINT's HSE policies, programs, and initiatives, fostering a zero-incident safety culture.
  • Interface with clients through project development, implementation, and completion, ensuring clear understanding of scope, terms, and specifications.
  • Oversee multiple projects, developing and directing follow-through plans to meet project goals and objectives.
  • Assist in developing original budgets, managing changes, and determining progress.
  • Ensure daily and weekly short-range planning is implemented correctly at the foreperson level.
  • Responsible for workforce planning, including developing work scopes, shift schedules, and fieldwork packages.
  • Provide coaching, technical training, and performance reviews for direct reports.
  • Ensure all field activities meet or exceed safety, quality, schedule, and cost requirements.
Requirements:
  • Experience managing E&I aspects of brownfield/greenfield construction, maintenance, and plant shutdowns.
  • Ability to read and interpret Schematics, Drawings, and Requests for Proposals relating to Electrical and Instrumentation.
  • Utilize systems for estimating, scheduling, and/or project management.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Expertise in fostering relationships and leading teams in a positive environment.
  • Field experience in Oil and Gas construction and/or maintenance is an asset.
  • Mechanical Aptitude is also considered an asset.
  • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job.
