About the Role

We are seeking an experienced E&I Project Manager to join our team at FLINT Corp. as an E&I Superintendent. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based out of our Sherwood Park facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and play an active role in the delivery of FLINT's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, programs, and initiatives.
  • Interface with client representatives through project development, implementation, and completion.
  • Implement the contract to the client's requirements and specifications, ensuring the scope of work, terms, conditions, and specifications are clearly understood and communicated to management and team members.
  • Oversee multiple projects and ensure the follow-through plans are developed and directed at meeting project goals and objectives.
  • Assist with developing the original budget, managing changes, and determining progress.
  • Flexibility with day-to-day tasks as the scope of the project evolves and as per management direction.
  • Electrical and Instrumentation Estimation and Project Monitoring full life cycle of projects.
  • Ensure that daily and weekly short-range planning is implemented properly, right down to the foreman level.
  • Responsible for workforce planning, including the development of all work scopes, shift schedules, and field work packages to implement and control all work through to a safe and efficient completion.
  • Provide coaching, technical training, and performance reviews for direct reports.
  • Ensure all field activities in the assigned territory meet or exceed safety, quality, schedule, and cost through the efficient use of all resources, including staffing, materials, tools, and equipment.
Requirements
  • Experience managing the E&I aspects of brownfield/greenfield construction, maintenance, and plant shutdowns.
  • Experience and ability to read and interpret Schematics, Drawings, Requests for Proposals, relating to Electrical and Instrumentation.
  • Utilize systems for estimating, scheduling, and/or project management.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Expertise in fostering relationships and leading teams in a positive environment.
  • Field experience in Oil and Gas construction and/or maintenance is an asset.
  • Mechanical Aptitude also considered an asset.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing, and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shovelling, bending, twisting, etc.
