Job Summary:
We are in search of a driven and skilled Legal Support Specialist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, particularly in the realm of real estate law.
The ideal applicant will exhibit meticulous attention to detail, possess strong organizational capabilities, and have a comprehensive understanding of legal protocols and documentation, especially concerning real estate transactions. Familiarity with corporate law is advantageous. This role is available for immediate engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative and legal assistance to attorneys, including calendar management, appointment scheduling, and legal document preparation.
- Assist in real estate transactions by drafting and reviewing documents related to property sales, leases, and mortgages.
- Maintain professional communication with clients and opposing counsel.
- Organize and manage case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and readily accessible.
- Handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality.
- Support corporate law activities as required, including the preparation of corporate documents and maintenance of corporate records.
- Perform additional administrative duties to assist the legal team as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a paralegal or similar capacity.
- Strong emphasis and experience in real estate law.
- Knowledge of corporate law is a plus.
- Proficient in legal research and case management software.
- Solid understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
