Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at STATION HOUSE BAR AND GRILL DTR VENTURES LTD. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of food service staff, including food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants, and kitchen and food service helpers.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory: Accurately estimate ingredient and supply needs, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Address Customer Concerns: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints or concerns, resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Prepare Reports: Compile and submit accurate and timely reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with fast-paced and dynamic conditions.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and maintain a high level of physical activity.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, client focus, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
