About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assembly Supervisor to join our team at Pride Bodies Ltd., a Wabtec Company. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the assembly process, ensuring high-quality products, and driving efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the assembly process, ensuring that all products meet quality and safety standards
  • Lead and motivate a team of assemblers to achieve production goals and targets
  • Assign, plan, and monitor production processes to meet efficiency and productivity standards
  • Collaborate with other departments, including engineering and purchasing, to ensure smooth production operations
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with safety protocols
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant training and certification in industrial production or a related field an asset
  • Previous experience in a production supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, trouble-shooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blue-print drawings and technical documentation
  • Knowledge of manufacturing tools and equipment, including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
