BlackBerry QNX Systems Software Developer II (ADAS) - Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our team at BlackBerry QNX, a leading provider of safe and secure operating systems, hypervisors, frameworks, and development tools, you will be responsible for developing innovative software solutions for camera systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new software applications using C and C++ programming languages.
  • Collaborate with the multimedia team to integrate video codecs for encoding and decoding.
  • Utilize expertise in Linux and/or Android operating systems to drive software development.
  • Develop device drivers for various platforms, leveraging knowledge of DMA, interrupts, memory mapping, and other relevant technologies.
  • Apply technical knowledge of multimedia frameworks, codecs, containers, and streaming formats to drive innovation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in image processing, including OpenCV and OpenGL.
  • Pursue personal projects in software development to enhance skills and stay current with industry trends.
  • Apply a passion for photography as a hobby to drive creativity and innovation in software development.
