Job Title: ECE Assistant

At Morinville Child Care, we are seeking a dedicated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about working with young children and supporting their development. As an ECE Assistant, you will work closely with our early childhood educators to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our children.

Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in maintaining accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Engage children in activities that promote learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and crafts.
  • Support children in developing good habits, such as eating, dressing, and using the toilet.
  • Prepare snacks and set up rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Submit written observations of children to early childhood educators.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and any challenges they may be facing.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience working with young children.
  • Ability to work on-site, with no option for remote work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
