Job Description:

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Assistant Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Alberta LTD.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in maintaining accurate records.
  • Engage children in activities through storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Help children develop essential life skills, such as eating, dressing, and using the toilet.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for meals and rest periods.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and challenges.

 

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and strong work values.

 

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and supportive team environment, assisting early childhood educators in providing high-quality care to children. The position requires a combination of physical activity and attention to detail.
