About the Role
As a District Manager, you'll play a vital role in driving the success of our retail network within the Campbellton area. You'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of 10-15 stores, ensuring they run smoothly and profitably. This involves collaborating closely with store operators, corporate teams, and business partners to implement company initiatives and maintain high standards across all locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support to store managers in all aspects of operations, including inventory management, promotional activities, customer service, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular market meetings, deliver training programs, and keep store operators informed about company directives and updates.
- Monitor sales performance, competitive pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns to ensure optimal results.
- Oversee store operations, including housekeeping, stock levels, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Actively participate in the recruitment, training, and development of store operators and corporate managers.
- Implement loss prevention measures to minimize inventory shrinkage and theft.
- Manage financial performance by achieving sales targets, controlling expenses, and ensuring profitability.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders through appropriate channels and manage external service providers as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of management experience in a retail or food service environment.
- Proven leadership abilities, exceptional communication skills, and resourcefulness.
- Customer-centric approach with strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
