Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at CLC Building Solutions Inc. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish
  • Prepare tenders and quotations to estimate costs and materials
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and level top surfaces according to grade and depth specifications
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to install anchor bolts, steel plates, and other fixtures
  • Impart desired finishes to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Instruct apprentices and ensure they meet the required standards
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Physically demanding work environment requiring heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Work Term: Permanent
