Job Summary

Boeing Trucking Inc. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Logistics: Plan and coordinate routes, schedules, and cargo to ensure timely delivery and efficient use of resources.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and provide excellent customer service to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and ensure all necessary documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by following all safety protocols and procedures, and reporting any incidents or accidents to management.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license is required.
  • Communication Systems: Experience with citizens band (CB) radio, GPS, and other navigation equipment is an asset.
  • Transportation/Travel Experience: Long-haul, provincial/territorial, and short-haul experience is an asset.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to handle heavy loads, physically demanding work, and repetitive tasks is required.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) is required.
  • Personal Suitability: Organized, reliable, and a team player is required.
