Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Central Xpress is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Plan and execute routes to ensure timely delivery and minimize delays.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Operate and maintain a tractor-trailer combination, including performing routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Communicate with dispatch and other drivers to coordinate routes and schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of hours of service, fuel consumption, and cargo information.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 or A Driver's License.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Long Haul Truck Driver.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
