We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapy Assistant to join our team at Moody Hall Enhanced Care in Bedford, Nova Scotia.
As a Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working closely with our Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and administering individual and group physical therapy sessions
- Assisting residents with therapeutic intervention programs, such as range of motion, progressive resistive and stretching, ADLs
- Documenting resident progress and responding to changes in their condition
- Maintaining equipment inventory and assisting with department audits, cleaning, and inspections
