Boutique Manager

Location: Yorkdale Mall, Toronto, ON

Reports to: Boutique Manager

Role Overview

Vacheron Constantin is seeking motivated Boutique Manager candidates to take on leadership responsibilities within our boutique. As a representative of the brand, you will oversee the enhancement and optimization of boutique performance and profitability by managing the boutique team and ensuring outstanding operations and client service.

Key Responsibilities

Boutique Performance & Sales Management

  • Achieve and surpass key performance indicators, including monthly and annual sales targets, as set by management.
  • Develop and implement strategic annual action plans to meet sales objectives for the brand, boutique, and product categories.
  • Analyze boutique performance metrics and devise strategies to enhance profitability.
  • Establish, monitor, and evaluate individual sales targets for team members, providing constructive feedback as necessary.

Client Relationship Management & Business Development

  • Deliver exceptional client service to drive sales growth.
  • Address and resolve escalated client issues and concerns effectively.
  • Generate and manage innovative business development initiatives through networking and event planning, collaborating with corporate teams for optimal results.
  • Organize and oversee boutique events with headquarters support to attract new clients, boost sales, and elevate brand visibility.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit and cultivate a talent pipeline with the right profiles.
  • Inspire and guide boutique staff to meet performance objectives.
  • Manage performance and compensation processes, ensuring staff development and engagement.

Boutique Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all brand and corporate policies and procedures for both the team and yourself.
  • Assist with annual inventory and audit processes as required.
  • Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, and annual reports, providing strategic insights and action plans to achieve boutique goals.
  • Oversee boutique expenses and manage budgets related to maintenance and repairs, ensuring alignment with brand standards.

Qualifications

  • A college degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of management experience in luxury retail is required.
  • Experience in public relations events and networking is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and computer skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
  • Additional language proficiency is advantageous.
  • Ability to motivate and develop team members is crucial.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
