About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Consultant to join our team at Ortec Finance. As a Senior Business Consultant, you will be responsible for leading Asset and Liability Management (ALM) studies for Dutch pension funds, providing strategic advice and guidance to clients, and developing and implementing financial models to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead ALM studies and projects, overseeing the work of junior consultants and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement financial models, ensuring accuracy and relevance to business decisions.
  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling, using advanced techniques and tools to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Present findings and recommendations to clients, stakeholders, and senior management, using clear and concise language to communicate complex ideas.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in a related field, such as finance, accounting, or consulting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with experience using tools such as Excel, SQL, and financial software.
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of financial markets, instruments, and regulations.
