Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our team at the Family Pharmacy in Lloydminster, SK. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead, coach, and motivate staff to achieve exceptional patient care and business results
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity
  • Business Development
    • Possess entrepreneurial skills to drive business growth and expansion
    • Identify opportunities to improve patient care and customer satisfaction
  • Compliance and Quality
    • Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations, policies, and procedures
    • Implement quality control measures to ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications
  • Professional Development
    • Stay current on the latest advances in the pharmacy industry through continuous professional development
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care
  • Team Management
    • Facilitate regular team meetings to communicate and implement new/existing policies and procedures
    • Perform performance assessments and provide constructive feedback to staff
  • Training and Development
    • Responsible for the training and orientation of new employees
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and customers
    • Identify opportunities to improve patient care and customer satisfaction
Qualifications and Skills
  • Licensed and in good standing with Alberta College of Pharmacy and Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals
  • Minimum 1 year of prior experience as a Pharmacy Manager is preferred
  • Licensed to Administer Medications by Injection is a must
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism
  • Above average verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-directed and able to work independently
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
