Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Preparation
- Develop and implement menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Source and procure high-quality ingredients and supplies.
- Kitchen Management
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient and safe food preparation and service.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and other support personnel.
- Quality Control
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all food meets our high standards.
- Implement corrective actions to address any quality issues.
- Inventory Management
- Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies.
- Monitor and control food costs to ensure profitability.
- Health and Safety
- Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and adhere to health and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular health and safety inspections to identify and address any potential issues.
- Education
- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
- Experience
- At least 2 years of experience as a cook or in a related role.
- Skills
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to work in a restaurant setting and will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail at all times.
