Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physiological, psychological, socio-cultural, and spiritual needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and empowerment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
  • Advanced preparation in GI Endoscopy, including completion of recognized post-basic education and a certificate of completion from the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses (AORN).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
