About the Role

Fednav Limited, a leading international dry bulk shipping group, is seeking a highly skilled Revenue and Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of revenue accounting, account receivable activities, and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue and Account Receivables (75%):
    • Assist operations with invoicing, receipt, banking, and account information;
    • Assist operations with voyage reconciliations;
    • Create new customers and maintain customer database;
    • Reconcile AR sub-ledger to GL and other various accounts (month-end process);
    • Collection (internally and externally);
    • Assist in various projects.
  • Act as Finance VIP 'SuperUser' (will provide training):
    • Ensure all transactions have been transferred between systems (VIP and Workday);
    • Assist with configuration, testing, and validation related to system changes (financial components);
    • Support users of VIP and Workday for ad hoc financial requests.
  • Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or any related field;
    • Excellent organization and planning skills;
    • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently;
    • Proficiency in Excel and financial ERP;
    • Workday Finance and/or VIP experience is an asset;
    • Bilingualism, French and English.
