About the Role

ChampionX is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Oilfield Chemical Service Representative to join our team in Grande Prairie, AB. As an Oilfield Chemical Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support to various accounts in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers, including sample testing, light maintenance, and service report generation.
  • Collect and manage chemical inventory from customer sites, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery.
  • Operate a company-provided vehicle on various roadways, including residential, highway, rural, and oil field leases.
  • Deliver chemical products to customers as needed, adhering to Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) requirements.
  • Document inventory using Microsoft Excel workbooks and/or other software, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Support sales representatives and develop strong relationships with key customer stakeholders in the accounts you support.
  • Participate in problem-solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data, and completing onsite and laboratory testing to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required.
  • Valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • Industry or relevant experience preferred.
  • Practical computer application literacy, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn internal business systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience driving on oil field roads.
  • Ability to lift, squat, and bend with heavy objects weighing up to approximately 50lbs.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and climb stairs and ladders.
