Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Teja Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair complex issues with truck systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Inspection and Testing: Conduct regular inspections and tests to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Parts and Labour Estimation: Accurately estimate the cost of parts and labour required for repairs and maintenance.
  • Scheduled Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations, to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of our vehicles.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including advising customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with regular exposure to heavy equipment and potentially hazardous materials.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, team player, and able to work in a dynamic environment.
